In 1988 Bob Keating pioneered the large-format, mobile video screen industry when he founded Transit Image, Inc.. Transit Image was the first company to develop a patented, mobile lifting system that allows self-contained 20’x27’ video screens to be raised at an event site to a viewing height of 50’. This innovation along with an unwavering dedication to field service led Transit Image to be one of the largest providers of mobile video display screens in the United States.

In January 2010, an entertainment-based business group acquired the assets of Transit Image, Inc. and the headquarters were moved to Weatherford, Texas. Transit Image LLC, led by Tommy Joe Lucia, a life–long entertainment professional, has produced many national-level events, broadcasts and festivals. Transit Image LLC has a deep commitment to quality and is dedicated to continuing the Transit Image tradition of a hassle-free customer experience.

The new era of Transit Image merges state-of-the-art, mobile LED video screen technology with a full contingent of video and event production services including: turnkey video production, sponsorship sales, visually integrated data collection, and sports statistics software.

Transit Image has provided screens for numerous national events and holds long-term relationships with some of the largest sporting events in the United States, including the Kentucky Derby, Boston Marathon, and the Grand Prix of Long Beach.
